Is MEKNOWWORDPRESS A Scam?

Me Know WordPress - Is It A Scam?
If you're like most people, WordPress can be quite intimidating. The thought of editing a WordPress theme, installing a plugin or maintaining the site is enough to scare off any beginner - and that's even before it's installed!
In this article I'd like to help you bannish your fears of WordPress and get your WordPress blog up and running today by reviewing a membership I recently joined called 'Me Know WordPress' which you can check out here -But before we get on to that I'd like to point out a few reasons why you should be using blogs as oppose to standard HTML files.
1. Standard HTML files are not dynamic. If your site consisted of 100+ pages and you want to change a meta tag, the location of your header image, your site title, or anything else, you'd have to manually go through each file and edit it. With WordPress blogs however, because pages are dynamically created from component files i.e. header.php and footer.php, you will only have to edit one file. This is a massive time saver and very re-assuing knowing that any mistakes or modifications can be taken care of quickly. HTML 0, WordPress 1.
2. HTML design is limited to your HTML knowledge. That might sound like an obvious statement but let me explain. With HTML if you want to add a menu in your header so visitors can navigate easily, you'll have to first do some reseach on Google to find the javascript code and then tinker with it to get it working how you want. Depending on the complexity of the menu, and the number of pages you have to update this can take a while. With WordPress however, your menu is updated dynmically with every new page you create. Your menu will vary depending on the theme you have installed, but even the default theme has this in-built function.  HTML 0, WordPress 2.
3. WordPress is search engine optimized. Standard HTML is not. This is probably common knowledge by now and even if you don't fully understand WordPress you'll have to admit that there are a lot of blogs appearing on the first page of Google for almost any search term you enter. Now there are many features within WordPress that make it so lovable by search engines like Google such as hyperlinked post titles matching your page name, hyperlinked tags, hyperlinked categories, descriptions within the catergories, organized h1, h2, and h3 tags, and so much more. With HTML however, you have to do this manually. If you have say 10 sites on your page with a sidebar linking to other pages, you'd have to manually hyperlink each of those ten links. Then you'd have to repeat the process for each page. Even if you were copying and pasting, it's still an inefficient way of working when a platform such as WordPress can do this all dynamically for you. HTML 0, WordPress 3.
4. HTML has no user-friendly way of installing scripts. WordPress however makes script-installing easy with it's plugin system. It's simply a case of browsing for what you want, choosing it and activating it and it's suddenly added into your WordPress admin. No standard HTML site can do this unless there's some serious modification done. But again, why bother going through the hassle when it can simplified? HTML 0, WordPress 4.
I think you're starting to see the power and advantages WordPress has over standard HTML. And it's no wonder that they're getting more and more popular. So as I said before I'd like to talk you through a recent membership I signed up to for specialized video training called 'Me Know WordPress' -
What Is It?
Me Know WordPress is an online membership site created by Aaron Danker a.k.a. 'tiptopmarketer' dedicated to teaching you everything there is to know about WordPress.  The term 'membership' is used losely as there is only a single payment involved which covers you for any updates and new training videos. After signing up you create a new username and password, which gets emailed to you and you'll be able to log into your account.
First Impressions?
I was actually quite impressed by the clean but friendly layout of the member's area. Everything was laid out clearly, I knew what was where and knew where to go to access the training.
What's Inside?
Inside there's over 100 WordPress tutorials for beginners in video format and is nicely laid out into 4 modules with each one getting progressively more advance. Module 1 covers the basics of internet marketing such as how to get hosting, getting a domain name, pointing your domain name to your DNS server, etc etc. Module 2 is where you start installing your blog and modifying it which is where I went to straight away. WordPress theme fustrate at times and I needed to know exactly what to edit. Module 3 gets a bit more advance going into RSS feeds, backing up and upgrading, creating a static front page, css styling and more. If you're a beginner you probably won't need to go into this until you've got a firm grasp on blogging. Module 4 is all about making money with your blog with methods like AdSense, ClickBank, Commission Junction, creating a membership site of your own on WordPress. After watching what I needed to know in Module 2 I jumped straight into this module to pick up more information. There's some great tips in here on how to promote your site, and protect your affiliate links, as well as automatically converting them whenever you enter a certain keyword into your posts!
Who Is It For?
'Me Know WordPress' as the name suggests is for cavemen :) - only joking. It's for beginners or WordPress technophobes who are not getting the full 'how to' experience from half-baked disorganized YouTube tutorials. If you're looking for an organized site that you can come back to, to learn specific tasks without having to rely on someone else to do it for you then this is for you.
Bad Points?
At first I was expecting to download all the videos and save them to my desktop. It would be nice to watch the videos from my PC without having to be connected. However after reading the main page, I realize that this is to protect the video content itself from going onto file sharing sites and to discourage serial refunders. Fair play. I'm now use to viewing the videos within the members area. It's so nicely laid out and convenient that it saves me from cluttering up my computer and loosing files!
Good Points?
Lots of video content, easy to navigate, organized training, one-off payment (despite it being a membership) and extra bonuses to get you started. When I logged in, there was another section for un-annouced bonuses which included PLR articles, plugins and header graphics. All have their purpose and are great additional extras to get your blog going!
Conclusion And Rating?
Overall I'd give Me Know WordPress a 9/10. When you consider the amount of content inside, the training you'll get out of it, the time you'll save, the organization and convenience of having everything together in one place, then it's a no brainer. I'd happily recommend it to anyone who's even remotely interested in jumping the WordPress bandwagon. Why 9 and not a 10? Well nothing is perfect in my opinion and there's always room for improvement :)
